I wonder if Laura Ingalls Wilder knew the impact her family stories would have on so many generations.
I wonder if Becket and Castle will ever realize they belong together.
I wonder how more people can be helped to lead a life without poverty.
I wonder about the latest natural disasters and the change of weather overall.
I wonder how authors of a century ago would feel about movies made from there prose.
I wonder why Realtors only give you a half hour notice before bringing people out to see your house.
Blurb:
After a life-altering accident and a failed relationship, Dr. Rachel Tarkiel gave up on love and settled for a life healing others as the physician at a School for the Blind. She's happy in her vocation--until handsome Clay Halsey shows up and inspires her to want more.
Blinded by a person he considered a friend, Clay curses his circumstances and his limitations. Intriguing Dr. Tarkiel shows him no pity, though. To her, he's as much a man as he ever was.
Can these two wounded souls conquer outside obstacles, as well as their own internal fears, and find love?

I love Laura Ingalls...and you are so right about the impact she continues to have on so many people.
ReplyDeleteYikes. I see I have a typo. Now why didn't I see it when I wrote the thing?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how authors of a century ago would feel about movies made from their prose.
Thanks Debra, I agree.
Hi Paty. Which book is this in the series? Are there any more coming out?
ReplyDeleteHI Paty and Emma!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post, Paty. You really gave us something to think about. :)
Hi Kaylea, This is book four and I have one more brother's story to write.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, Thanks!
What a great way to start a blog. Makes me think about what I'm wondering about right now. And, Doctor in Petticoats sounds like a great read. I'm going to check it our right after this comment.
ReplyDeleteLDee, Thanks for checking out my books. And if anyone is interested, I received a fabulous review today from here:http://bookreviewsbysuzie.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteI'd think the authors from a century ago would be amazed at the fact that their books could be turned into movies...but hope, like everyone else...that the movie would really reflect what's actually written!
ReplyDeleteMarianne/April
Hi Paty,
ReplyDeleteGreat snippet. The Little House on the Prairie, I didn't read the books, couldn't get them out here in Australia at the time, but I loved the TV show. Michael Landon is my hero and the little girls were so cute.
Regards
Margaret
That's true Marianne/April.
